CALIBRATIONS

Scale calibration is essential to achieve accurate weighing results. The accuracy of balances and scales become less reliable over time, therefore they need to be calibrated on regular intervals. There are various factors that affect calibration accuracy:

• Usage

• Lifespan

• Environment

• ISO requirements

We offer calibrations done onsite or at our premises and we provide calibration reports with each calibration done.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

Weighing equipment requires ongoing support and maintenance to ensure that high level of accuracy and reliability is kept throughout the life of the scale. Maintaining your scale regularly will also prolong the life span of the scale.

We have highly skilled service technicians who will be able to do repairs and maintenance onsite or on our premises. We will be able to do repairs on most makes and models of scales and carry a wide range of spares on our premises.

We also offer telephonic technical support if you are not able to bring your scale in or are too far out for us to come to you.

SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS

We offer maintenance contracts which vary from 1 visit to 12 visits per year depending on your requirements.

We will assess your scales and provide a quotation on the scales that require repairs / maintenance.

We provide SLA’s according to the ISO regulations. Calibrations will be supported by calibration reports or NRCS certificates. This is an extremely cost effective solution

VERIFICATIONS

Legal verification certifies that your trade approved scales and balances are giving the correct results. SANAS verification certificates are issued after verification and are valid for a duration of 2 years. By law, all trade approved scales and balances must be verified for trade purposes as per the Legal Metrology Act (Act no 9 of 2014)

Verifications can be done on all scales up to 4000kg, provided they are type approved scales. The verifications will be accompanied by a NRCS verification certificate.
